Shifting by Grade-6 Student

“Shifting” became a trend on the social media platform Tiktok, as known as ‘reality shifting’. If you have recently scroll Tiktok and seen a video with “shifting,” this might confuse you. In case you’re not familiar, “shifting,” It involves doing different rituals to move your consciousness into an alternative “desired reality” or DR for short where you can go literally anywhere, real or imagined (Hogwarts, anyone?). Long story short, “shifting” can take you from this reality to another reality.

Terminology

Desired Reality (DR). The place shifters are trying to get to.
Current Reality (CR). The physical world you are living in.
Method. It’s the way to get to the DR — and there are many.
Symptoms – experiences that occur whilst attempting to shift, such as: seeing bright white lights, feeling vibrating sensations, numbness, or falling, and seeing or hearing people from one’s desired reality.
Mini-shift – a shift to the desired reality, but only for minutes.
Script – a script is a text used by shifters to specify the reality they wanna shift to, such as the name, appearance, lifestyle, etc. they want to experience. It can be a physical paper, a digital note, or anything else that involves text. According to the shifting community, a script isn’t always necessary as long as you’re sure about what you want, but it can still help.
Waiting Room (WR). It’s also called the world between, among many other things. It’s essentially a portal between your CR and DR.
DR – Desired reality
CR – Current reality
WR – Waiting room

The reality you’re planning to shift to will be exactly like this reality, only with the changes you’re making. When you shift, none of the senses will change. Your senses will be exactly the same as this reality, and it will be just as real as this one.

If you want to shift into a fictional reality, no problem!
Are they fictional in this reality? Of course! However, if we’re shifting to a reality where fictional characters and things exist, they are no longer fictional and instead they are real. Here’s a good example: let’s say you’re shifting to meet your favorite character from your favorite movie. They don’t exist here in your current reality as that character, but they do in your desired reality.
You can shift back to this reality whenever you want. We all have different reasons to shift; therefore, some people decide to stay in that reality for the rest of their lives. There’s absolutely nothing harmful about this! You can shift back in the same way you shifted there, or you can script a safe word or action to bring you back immediately on demand. For example, if you scripted that saying the word ‘cherry’ for three times in a row, automatically shifts you back to this reality.

Script

As I said a script is a text used by shifters to specify the reality they wanna shift to. You do not need a script for shifting. Some people shift without scripts too but Would you go for a holiday trekking without a compass and map, sunscreen, your clothes, and other accessories that are needed for? Of course not! Shifting is the same. A script helps you prepare for the experience, which can only be a good thing. If you’re new to shifting, know that the scripts used in shifting aren’t anything like a movie script. You are not outlining the plot. You’re just determining the setting, and the more details you add, the more perfect your shifting experience may be.
Many people think they can’t shift but don’t lose hope. Everyone and anyone can shift, so don’t lose hope and this can take a while too but in the end, it’s totally worth it.
