Kingdom Plantae by Grade-10(new) Students

This is a presentation explaining the Kingdom Plantae of Grade-10(new) Group-3 Students project from Academy Federal School. We describe a high-level presentation about Kingdom Plantae here in this article and you may explore students’ presentations on School’s Youtube Channel here.

The Kingdom Plantae, Also known as Kingdom Metaphyta is a classification category that includes all plants, mosses, ferns, conifers, flowering plants, and some of the most recognizable species on Earth. Plants are essential to life, providing oxygen, food, shelter, and beauty for all alive on the earth including humans and animals. They are characterized by their ability to produce their own food through photosynthesis and the presence of cell walls made of cellulose. Plants come in a variety of sizes and shapes ranging from giant sequoias towering almost 350 feet tall down to tiny mosses growing only an inch or two high.
All plants share common characteristics such as having leaves that act like solar panels absorbing energy from sunlight; stems which transport water throughout their bodies; roots that anchor them into the ground while also taking up vital nutrients needed for growth; flowers used for reproduction purposes; fruits containing seeds dispersing new generations of plants far away from their parents; and finally bark protecting vulnerable inner tissues while helping regulate temperature extremes between day/night cycles.
